Astyn Systems, Inc. is a software development services company concentrating on specialized large scale systems, communication protocols, and embedded applications.

Most of the projects involve Linux and Open Source code base but in many cases other operating systems and proprietary code is used.

Astyn Systems, Inc. publishes some of the work as Open Source projects. It also provides technical expertise to third party Open Source projects.

A system to automatically add or update copyright notices in source files. It is independent from any source control management system.

CVC Tunnel for Linux

A client for Contivity VPN concentrator. It is based on an open source IPSEC implementation. It adds a simple command line interface.

Advanced IP Addressing

A system to significantly expand the use of IP addresses and to provide means of managing them.

Cable/Satellite Set Top Boxes

Development, testing, and integration of advanced next generation HD/DVR set top boxes.

Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS)

A method to deploy LAN-like services over IP networks. This is now an IETF project within l2vpn WG.
